CCGG Market Commentary

April 17, 2015  Morning Commentary

Chicago finished even today with the rest of the wheat complex trading a conservative distance from par. Moisture remains in the plains with more on the 6-10 day forecast. Monday morning will provide a crop progress report for wheat with most thinking the spring wheat planting throughout the US will be about 35% along. The wheat market as a whole continues to struggle against extremely poor US demand, a high dollar, and cheap corn. With those burdensome factors we need more than a minor news story to signifigantly help prices.
